Researchers in the Innovation and Digital Transformation theme come from a wide variety of disciplines (public administration, law, economics, education, management, industrial relations, public health, information technology, urban planning). This variety makes it possible to address the determinants and impacts of innovation and digital transformation from several angles and in a multidisciplinary manner.
Whether studying the impact of digital transformation on the labour market, the determinants of open innovation, or the impact of the use of artificial intelligence on the competitiveness of Quebec industries, the research team, in collaboration with the CIRANO Pole on the Socio-economic Impacts of Digital Innovation and AI and its partners (IVADO, OBVIA and 4POINT0) can therefore answer the many questions raised by digital transformation. It can thus make appropriate recommendations on the best strategies for individuals, businesses or governments to adapt to these changes.
