Following the Action IA Summit, held in Paris from February 6 to 11, Guillaume Avrin, France's national coordinator for artificial intelligence, will be in Montreal to present an exclusive summary of the main developments in responsible AI serving the public interest.
This presentation will be followed by a French-Canadian panel discussion, organized by CORIM and moderated by Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, CEO of CIRANO, Full Professor at Polytechnique Montréal and Obvia Researcher.
It will also feature :
- Tania Saba, BMO Chair in Diversity and Governance, professor at Université de Montréal
- Eric Salobir, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Human Technology Foundation
Discussions will highlight concrete initiatives implemented to support employers and workers in adopting AI in the workplace.
These initiatives include the development of a global governance framework, a commitment by employers to take specific action, as well as the support of the international scientific community and the International Labor Organization for the development and promotion of good practices to enhance the positive and sustainable impact of AI.
