Michel Cossette is Associate Professor in HEC Montréal’s Department of Human Resources Management and a certified human resources professional (CHRP), an occupational and organizational psychologist. Over the years, he has honed his expertise in HR analytics and dashboards.

His researches concentrate on two domains. The first domain aims to understand motivational process behind employees’ emotional labour: impact of organizational (such as HRM practices) and personal factors on employee motivation and service performance strategies; influence on psychological well-being and job attitudes. The second domain concerns the study of employee retention/turnover (internal and external) process (job attitudes, specific reasons to stay and to quit the job, and job search behaviours).
