Christian Belzil has a Ph.D. from Cornell University, and is a professor in the Department of Economics at École polytechnique (France) and ENSAE (France). His areas of specialization are labour economics and econometrics. His research focuses on the dynamics of schooling decisions, job search, unemployment insurance and the determinants of behaviours affecting fertility and the spacing of births.
