As every year, CIRANO researchers will be well represented at the annual conferences of economists in Quebec. At the ASDEQ conference in Montreal, Geneviève Dufour (CIRANO) will moderate the workshop Économie du Québec : Mythe ou réalité, Pierre-Carl Michaud (HEC Montréal) will be a panelist at the workshop Réfléchir le long terme : rôle et outils de l'économiste and Marie Connolly (ESG-UQAM) will be a panelist at the workshop L'éducation et la santé : deux milliers pour tout projet de société, alongside Joanne Castonguay, Commissaire à la santé et au bien-être and Miville Tremblay (CIRANO Invited Fellow).

The Société canadienne de sciences économiques conference, also in Montreal, will highlight the exceptional contributions of Marcel Boyer (Université de Montréal) and Bernard Fortin (Université Laval) with a tribute lecture. Other CIRANO researchers will be in attendance, including Emanuela Cardia (Université de Montréal) and Charles Bellemare (Université Laval).
