Annie Royer received her Ph.D. in economics at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2009. She was also a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands from 2009 to 2011. She is now assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Consumer Sciences at Laval University. She holds a teaching Chair on collective marketing. Her research program is multidisciplinary. It is oriented towards collective marketing of agricultural products, vertical coordination in food chains and value chains, producer organizations, agricultural policy analysis, quality and innovation.
