Several CIRANO Reports on food fraud and digitization in the Quebec agri-food sector in the spotlight


Ingrid Peignier, Senior Director of Partnerships and Research Valorization and Projects Director at CIRANO, and Henri-Paul Rousseau, CIRANO Invited Fellow, Visiting Professor at the Paris School of Economics, Adjunct Professor at HEC Montréal, Chairman of Noovelia, presented CIRANO studies at events dedicated to, on one hand, consumers' and food industry's perceptions of the challenges of food fraud and, on the other hand, the stakes and perspectives of digitization in the Quebec agri-food sector.

 

 

On March 18, 2021, during an activity organized by the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences of Université Laval in partnership with the Quebec City Chapter of the Ordre des agronomes, Ingrid Peignier presented on "Consumer and Food Industry Perceptions of the Challenges of Food Fraud".

On April 6, 2021, Henri-Paul Rousseau presented on "Digital and the Agri-Food Industry: Challenges and Prospects" during Les Perspectives agroalimentaires organized by the Quebec Reference Center for Agriculture and Agri-food (CRAAQ).
