Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, President and Chief Executive Officer of CIRANO and Full Professor at Polytechnique Montréal, was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies.

This appointment was made by the Members of Cabinet on 25 September, 2019.

The mission of the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Nature et technologies (FRQNT) is to promote and financially support research, dissemination and knowledge mobilization in the natural sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering. FQRNT awards scholarships for excellence to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. The FRQNT seeks to establish any necessary partnerships, including with universities, colleges, industry, government departments and relevant public and private organizations.
