Marcel Boyer, winner of the award Léon-Gérin 2015

On November 18th, Marcel Boyer, co-founder and CIRANO Fellow, received the Léon-Gérin prize 2015. This prize is one of the Prix du Quebec awarded annually to honor scientists who have distinguished themselves by their outstanding career in their field of activity or to crown a career dedicated to the management and development of research or the promotion of science and technology.

Since 1985, Marcel Boyer is the third economist to receive this award after the late Marcel Dagenais in 1999 and Jean-Marie Dufour in 2008. These three internationally renowned economists, who were CIRANO Fellows at the time of their nomination, were instrumental in establishing the reputation of CIRANO through their exemplary work.
