Olivier Jacques featured in the media to discuss Bill 2 and doctors’ remuneration in Quebec

Olivier Jacques, CIRANO researcher and Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health, Université de Montréal, was invited by multiple media outlets to discuss the scope and implications of Bill 2, “An Act mainly to promote collective responsibility for improving access to medical services and to ensure continuity in the provision of those services.”

Recognized for his expertise in health policy and public economics, he took part in numerous interviews across radio and television, in both English and French.

Through these interventions, Professor Jacques contributed to a deeper understanding of the reform’s objectives and its potential impact on the governance of Quebec’s health system, highlighting key issues of fairness, efficiency, and collective accountability.
