Catherine Beaudry, a full professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and CIRANO researcher and Fellow was awarded the Prix Acfas Jacques-Rousseau 2022 for her outstanding multidisciplinary contributions in science and engineering at the 78th Gala de l'Acfas.
Delivered since 1980, the Jacques Rousseau award is given each year to a researcher to recognize the excellence and influence of his or her work in building innovative bridges between different disciplines, beyond his or her field of specialization.
Researcher and CIRANO Fellow since 2002, Principal Researcher of the Innovation and Digital Transformation theme, Catherine Beaudry holds the Canada Research Chair in Innovation Creation, Development and Commercialization and leads the Partnership for the Organization of Innovation and New Technologies (4POINT0). She is also a member of the Board of Directors and the Program Committee of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), a member of the Board of Directors of QuébecInnove, a member of the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur la science et la technologie (CIRST), an associate professor at UQAM and a founding member of the Global Young Academy.
