Digital technology is part of our lives: information, economy, entertainment, communications. But it's also increasingly present in agriculture. Artificial intelligence, for example, opens up new perspectives in animal farming, precision agriculture and robotics.
Gilbert Bégin and Stéphan Gravel from Radio-Canada met with experts Thierry Warin, Professor at HEC Montréal and CIRANO Fellow, and Ingrid Peignier, CIRANO Project Director, to ask them questions about the challenges of this agriculture of the future.
A team of CIRANO researchers has been working for several years on various research projects related to this theme. (Annie Royer, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, Thierry Warin, Ingrid Peignier, Molivann Panot)
