CIRANO was well represented at the Congrès annuel de l'Association des économistes québécois which was held at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal on May 9 and 10. Among the highlights featuring our researchers were the workshop Économie du Québec:  Mythe ou réalité workshop, led by Genevieve Dufour, the workshop Réfléchir le long terme: rôle et outils de l’économiste which included Pierre-Carl Michaud among its panelists, and L’éducation et la santé: deux milliers pour tout projet de société, a workshop featuring Marie Connolly, Joanne Castonguay and Miville Tremblay.
