Professor at the School of Actuarial Sciences at Université Laval, Denis Latulippe's teaching and research activities focus on retirement and social security issues. He is also coordinator of the Pole on Retirement Applied Research (Finance Montréal). Director of the Chair of Actuarial Science at Université Laval, he also works on chairships on financial services and demographic change. He is Chair of an International Committee of Actuaries and actively collaborates on the work of boards and working groups of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, in addition to chairing a pension committee and serving as a director of a reinsurance company.

Having first gained experience in the private sector, he also acted as a senior official with the Government of Quebec and the United Nations. Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries of the United States, he holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval. He is also a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK).
