Sophie Bernard will be responsible for the "policy levers" axis of the new Réseau québécois de recherche en économie circulaire.

Sophie Bernard, professor at Polytechnique Montréal in environmental economics, researcher and CIRANO Fellow and principal investigator of the Sustainable Development major theme will be responsible for the "Policy Levers" axis of the new Quebec Research Network on Circular Economy supported by the Fonds de Recherche du Québec.

This axis aims to identify and prioritize public policies and management strategies that allow for effective and coordinated governance and planning of the circular economy in Quebec. The identification of these policy levers will be based, in particular, on the analysis of circular economy policies in other jurisdictions and the way best practices can be applied in the Quebec political-administrative and regulatory framework.

Great collaborations with CIRANO are in prospect!
