Now available in free access: the Disposable Income Simulator (Simulateur de revenu disponible, SRD, documentation in French) of the Research Chair in Intergenerational Economics (CREEi), of which CIRANO is a partner.

This fast and flexible simulator models federal and provincial taxation and key benefits for Ontario and Quebec for 2016 to 2020, through more than 100 measures, programs and credits.

It is possible to download a Python package or access the code directly on Github, and use it for a single individual, a few hundred or several thousand at a time.

The simulator is updated annually and other provinces will be added gradually.
