Bernard Fortin appointed co-holder of the Industrial Alliance Research Chair on the Economics of Demographic Change

Bernard Fortin, CIRANO Fellow and Full Professor at Université Laval, was appointed in early July co-holder of the Industrial Alliance Research Chair on the Economics of Demographic Change.

Bernard Fortin specializes in labour economics and public economics. The focus of his research is the impact of the tax and regulatory environment on the behaviour of workers and firms.

Bernard Fortin succeeds Guy Lacroix, professor at Université Laval and CIRANO Fellow. He is co-holder of the Chair with Raquel Fonseca (Université du Québec à Montréal) and Pierre-Carl Michaud (HEC Montréal), both CIRANO Fellows.
