The QICSS, the Chaire de recherche Industrielle Alliance sur les enjeux économiques des changements démographiques and CIRANO are organizing a conference on the future well-being of the elderly. The conference will be held at HEC Montréal on December 5 and 6, 2016.

Conference organizers are seeking communications that focus on the following dimensions using quantitative methods. Proposals are accepted until September 1st.

• Economic conditions of the elderly (e.g. poverty, wealth, income, subjective well-being)
• Health and cognitive status of the elderly
• Consumption, expenditures and time use of the elderly
• Value of insurance against various risks faced at older ages
• Informal and formal care for the elderly
• Relationship between retiree well-being and earlier economic and life conditions
