In an interview, Genevieve Dufour, Director of Major Collaborative Projects at CIRANO, discusses the need to better understand the changing labour market in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector, in order to train, support and equip current and future workers.

“In 2024, a third of job offers required technological skills, and 20% of them required skills beyond those of an office-based nature,” she explains.
