CIRANO, in collaboration with the Autorité des marchés financiers, Bourstad's main partner, and its many other precious sponsors, is proud to organize the 38ᵉ edition of the Bourstad challenge, a must for investment enthusiasts and those curious about the financial world.

From 10 February to 11 April 2025, novice and experienced participants will have the opportunity to manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000, investing in a selection of more than 700 real stocks listed on the stock markets. This online competition on bourstad.ca is open to everyone - high school, CEGEP and university students, as well as the general public - and is awarding this year bursaries totalling almost $40,000.

Julie Paquin, Director of Financial Education at the Autorité des marchés financiers, will be this year's Honorary President of the competition. The jury will be chaired by Julie Ducharme, CFA, Vice-President and Institutional Portfolio Manager at PH&N.
