Sylvana Côté, full professor at Université de Montréal's School of Public Health and CIRANO researcher, has been appointed a new Canada Research Chair in the Prevention of Psychosocial and Educational Problems in Children.
Using population-based research and administrative data, the Chair's studies will focus on the effectiveness of early childhood interventions in preventing long-term psychosocial and educational problems.
Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Sylvana Côté is also a Researcher at CHU Ste-Justine, Director of the Groupe de recherche sur l'inadaptation psychosociale chez l'enfant (GRIP) and Director of the Observatoire pour l'éducation et la santé des enfants (OPES).
