Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin led a panel with Minister Fitzgibbon during the launch of phase 2 of the OBVIA

Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, CEO of CIRANO, moderated a panel on January 26, 2024, titled "Employment, Innovation, and Economy - Why Addressing Societal Impacts is Essential for Successful AI Integration?" with Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy, Innovation, and Energy (MEIE), at the event marking the launch of phase 2 of Obvia, supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec.

The panelists-researchers from OBVIA were Pierrich Plusquellec of the University of Montreal, Director of Collaboration with Industry and Developers, Julie M.E. Garneau, Ph.D. from the Université du Québec en Outaouais, co-responsible for the thematic axis Industry 4.0, Work and Employment, and Tania Saba from the University of Montreal, Scientific Director - Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
