The Research Chair in International Economics in collaboration with CIREQ and CIRANO is organizing a conference on April 29, 2024 in Montreal on “New Research and Policy Perspectives on Inequality and Poverty.”

The core of the conference will consist of 4-5 presentations of frontier research on inequality. Submissions can cover a wide range of topics related to inequality and poverty, and can include empirical, theoretical, and quantitative approaches.

The conference will conclude with an interactive round table, which will bring together experts and participants to engage in a comprehensive dialogue and explore potential solutions.

The event will be held in English.

Deadline for paper submissions for presentation at the Conference is February 28.
