Organized by the Power Corporation of Canada Chair in Employer-Employee Dynamis, Earnings and Benefits, and the Jacques-Parizeau Research Chair in Economic Policy, in partnership with QICSS, CIRANO, CIREQ and the Productivity Partnership, this conference will feature keynote speaker Professor Christian Dustmann of University College London (UCL), and will cover essential topics such as the economic and social impacts of immigration on labor markets, challenges and opportunities for temporary workers, implications for firms in terms of recruitment and talent management, and the effects of immigration on productivity and economic growth. Other issues related to the interactions between the labor market and immigration will also be explored.
