On Wednesday May 22 from 5:30 to 8pm, the Bourstad 2024 awards ceremony took place at CIRANO.
The competition ran from February 12 to April 12, 2024. Participants in the Bourstad 2024 Challenge were able to manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000 and invest this amount in various investment vehicles.
During the ceremony, prizes totalling over $40,000 were awarded to the participants who excelled in the various aspects of the competition, namely financial performance, portfolio management and responsible investment.
The honorary president of the competition, Benoit Desgroseillers, Vice President, Talent Development at Finance Montréal, the competition partners and the grand prize winners were invited to the ceremony, which ended with a discussion and a cocktail reception.
