Bourstad Webinar : Bourstad Webinar - Behind Crypto-assets, Crypto-currencies, Web 3.0 and NFT: the blockchain

Wednesday 2 Mar 2022
From 7PM To 8PM

New terms appeared recently, such as crypto-assets, crypto-currencies, and NFTs. Often, they also come with new promises and revolutions. During this webinar, our experts Robert Normand, CIRANO project director, and Thierry Warin, professor at HEC Montréal, CIRANO researcher and Fellow, Paul Bourget, founder and director of Bourstad projects at CIRANO and Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, CEO of CIRANO presented their perspectives and offered their overview of these innovations. They highlighted the importance of the blockchain as the fundamental architecture of these new proposals and they addressed the nuances separating pure speculation from the fundamental value of these innovations.

With an MBA in finance and information systems (McGill) and a BAA in marketing (HEC Montréal), Paul Bourget is the creator of the Bourstad Challenge and has been its pedagogical director since its launch in 1987.
