Jean-François Gauthier has been a CIRANO Researcher since 2025 and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at HEC Montréal. His research interests include personnel economics, labor economics, and development economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College (United States).
