Biography

Daniel Kouloukoui is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Polytechnique Montréal, in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Accounting Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), and was an exchange doctoral student at Polytechnique Montréal.

He is registered with the Brazilian Federal Accounting Council as an accountant and certified by the Brazilian capital market as an investment professional. Daniel Kouloukoui was professor of graduation in accounting sciences and administration at Fundação Visconde de Cairu, Brazil, where he was also coordinator of graduation in accounting sciences.

He has authored and co-authored several publications in high-impact international journals. He has a wide range of professional experience in cost analysis, budget planning, investment analysis, valuation, financial modeling, statistical analysis and modeling.
