Data science, international affairs, public policy analysis


Martin Paquette holds a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the Université de Montréal. His areas of expertise are mainly in data science, international affairs and public policy analysis.

Having recently joined CIRANO, Martin is involved in a study on the use of data mining techniques for the assessment of global maritime traffic. In parallel, he also collaborates on numerous projects including Mondo and the Open Data Portal. Being very interested in international relations, his career path allowed him to complete an internship at the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in New York.
