Biography

A CIRANO Researcher since 2019, Martino Pelli is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Université de Sherbrooke. He is also a member of the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en économie quantitative (CIREQ).

Holding a Ph.D. in Economics, University of Lausanne, his research interests are in development and resource economics, and international trade.

He is the list manager for the Environmental and Resource Economics Network, ResEcon, supported by AERE, which brings together over 2,000 environmental and resource economists. He co-organizes the Montréal Workshop on Natural Resources and the Environment with Charles Séguin (UQAM) and he has been a member of the executive board of the Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA) from 2018 to 2019.
