A CIRANO Researcher since 2019, Stéphane Paquin is Full Professor at the École nationale d'administration publique. He is also Director of the Groupe de recherche et d'études sur l'international et le Québec (GERIQ), Research Director at the Centre d'études sur l'intégration et la mondialisation (CEIM) and co-director and founder of the "Politique mondiale" series at the Presses de l’Université de Montréal.
Holding a Ph.D. in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris, his research interests are theories of globalization and global politics, international political economy (theory, trade and climate negotiations) and comparative policies (Canada-Québec comparative, social democracy Scandinavian countries, federalism, multi-level governance and treaty compliance, paradiplomacy and methodology).
