Biography
Raja Kali is a Professor of Economics and holds the ConocoPhillips Chair in International Economics and Business at the Sam M. Walton College of Business of the University of Arkansas. His research has examined the impact of globalization on international trade, financial crises and economic growth. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in economics from the University of Maryland – College Park. He has been a visiting research scholar at the Indian School of Business, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, University of Melbourne, and at the London School of Economics. He was a visiting professor of international business at HEC Montréal in 2012.
