Biography

Marc Blais has a Ph.D. in psychology from the Université de Montréal, and has been a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) since 1985. The research projects he has directed over the past 10 years have focused on human motivation and social psychology as applied to physical and mental health issues, both work-related (eg., stress, exhaustion and quality of working life) and in the health intervention field (eg., motivation to change, maintenance and integration of changes).
