Roxane Borgès Da Silva Named Knight of the National Order of Quebec

CIRANO is proud to announce the nomination of Roxane Borgès Da Silva as one of the recipients who will be awarded the rank of Knight of the National Order of Quebec during the official ceremony to be held on June 17, 2026, at the Quebec Parliament Building.

Announced by Quebec Premier Christine Fréchette, this prestigious distinction recognizes the exceptional contributions of 23 individuals who have left their mark on Quebec through their commitment, leadership, and impact in their respective fields.

A CIRANO researcher and Fellow since 2015, Roxane Borgès Da Silva serves as Vice President of Research Funding, Main researcher of the theme Health, and Responsible of the CIRANO Pole on the Efficiency of Health Services and Policies. An associate professor in the Department of Health Management, Evaluation, and Policy at the University of Montreal’s School of Public Health, she focuses her work on the analysis and evaluation of health organizations, as well as the development of performance and quality indicators.

Through her recognized expertise, scientific rigor, and commitment to the continuous improvement of health services, Roxane Borgès Da Silva has made significant contributions to advancing knowledge and informing public policy decisions in Quebec.
