Associate Researcher at CIRANO in the Sustainable Development and Agri-food and Territories themes, Arnaud Dragicevic is an international faculty member at the Faculty of Economics of Chulalongkorn University. He holds a Ph.D. from École Polytechnique and a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics.
His research lies at the intersection of environmental and natural resource economics, complex systems, and network modeling. He develops theoretical and computational frameworks to analyze how incentives, information, and shocks influence coordination and resilience in socio-ecological and bioeconomic systems. His work has applications in the management of renewable resources, economic transitions, as well as climate change mitigation and adaptation and biodiversity loss.
Methodologically, he combines dynamic optimization, equilibrium analysis, and simulation approaches, with a focus on policy-relevant indicators such as welfare, risk, inequality, sustainability, and resilience.
