Biography

Former student of the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration, Louis Lévy-Garboua holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Emeritus Professor at Université Paris 1, Louis Lévy-Garboua initially taught applied microeconomics as well as economics of decision-making, economic uncertainty, information economics and behavioral economics. He wrote his main works in the 1970s, notably L'aide aux étudiants en France: faits et critique published by the CNRS editions in 1977.
