Guy Lacroix has a Ph.D. in economics from Université Laval and completed postdoctoral studies at Princeton University. He is full professor in the Department of Applied Economics at HEC Montréal. He specializes in labour economics, applied econometrics and the economics of health. His research work looks at the relationships between income security policy and individuals' behaviour on the labour market, and at measuring the effectiveness of job re-entry policy for individuals with little schooling.
