Two CIRANO studies on food fraud presented to the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec

As part of the activities of the Forum Agro, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, President and Chief Executive Officer of CIRANO and Full Professor at Polytechnique Montréal, and Ingrid Peignier, Senior Director of Partnerships and Research Valorization at CIRANO, presented the results of two CIRANO studies on food fraud to teams from the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) in Quebec City on February 7th.

 

The study on the perceptions of the food industry was made with Virginie Barrere and Samuel Godefroy of the Institute on Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF) - Université Laval, and with the support of the Quebec consortium for industrial bioprocess research and innovation (CRIBIQ).
