CIRANO Researchers’ Assembly 2025-2026

On September 17, CIRANO held its annual researchers’ assembly. This special moment brought together the community to welcome new members of the CIRANO team, introduce newly appointed researchers, share organizational updates, and exchange on current and future projects.

The occasion also provided the opportunity to award the Claude Montmarquette Scholarship to Geneviève Vaillancourt, a Master’s student in Economics at the Université de Montréal. The award was presented by Marcelin Joanis, CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 2008 and Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, and Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, President and CEO of CIRANO. Congratulations to Geneviève for this well-deserved recognition!

The event also highlighted the ongoing commitment of CIRANO researchers, who actively contribute to advancing knowledge and informing reflection on major societal issues, while supporting the development and assessment of public policies.
