Martin Boyer receives the President’s Award of the American Risk and Insurance Association

CIRANO Researcher and Fellow since 1998, Martin Boyer is Full Professor in the Department of Finance at HEC Montréal and holds the Power Corporation of Canada Chair in Pension and Insurance. He has been awarded the President’s Award of the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) at the 2025 World Risk and Insurance Economics Congress (WRIEC), recently held in Calgary.

Established in 1994 by then-ARIA President Harold Skipper (Georgia State University), this prestigious award recognizes distinguished, sustained, and significant service contributions to ARIA and, more broadly, to the field of risk and insurance.
