CIRANO, represented by the CIRANO Pole in Data Science for Trade and Intermodal Transport, was present at the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM) lunch meeting with François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, on the theme: “Seizing the opportunities of emerging technologies: a new chapter in Canada-EU relations”.

A great opportunity to learn more about the role of emerging technologies in a fast-changing and uncertain world. The visions of Margrethe Vestager and François-Philippe Champagne provided enriching perspectives, highlighting the privileged cooperation between Canada and the European Union.
