At its meeting on July 17, 2024, the Conseil des Ministres appointed the members of the new Board of Directors of the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ). The 19 members represent the FRQ's three main research sectors: natural sciences and technology, health sciences, and social and human sciences. The mission of the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) is to support the strategic and coherent development of scientific research in Québec in the FRQ's three main research sectors.

Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, Professor at Polytechnique Montréal and Researcher, Fellow and CEO of CIRANO, has been appointed member of the Board of Directors of the Fonds de recherche du Québec for the “Nature and Technology” sector.
