Robert Clark receives John Rae 2024 award

Robert Clark, Professor at Queen's University, CIRANO Associate Researcher and Fellow, and principal researcher on the Competition theme, was awarded the John Rae Prize. Awarded every two years, the John Rae Prize is given to the Canadian economist who has achieved the best research results over the last five years.

This prize was established in 1991 under the leadership of Marcel Boyer (president of the CEA in 1990-91). Marcel Boyer also chaired the first jury to award this prize, which was presented in 1994 to Larry Epstein (University of Toronto) and Jean-Marie Dufour (Université de Montréal), both of whom are now professors at McGill University. Fabian Lange (Université McGill) was awarded the prize in 2016.
