On February 1st at CIRANO, Joanne Castonguay, Commissaire à la santé et au bien-être (CSBE), discussed the recommendations of two teams of experts on assessing the functional autonomy of the elderly in Quebec. 

The heads of the CIRANO Pole on the efficiency of health services and policies, Roxane Borgès Da Silva et Carl-Ardy Dubois presented their study "Gestion de la pandémie de COVID-19 - Analyse de la dotation en personnel dans les centres d'hébergement de soins de longue durée du Québec au cours de la première vague" and Denis Chenevert (HEC Montréal) from the HEC Montréal's Pôle Santé presented his comparative study of systems for assessing the functional autonomy of the elderly.
