CIRANO, the Arbour Foundation and Polytechnique Montreal organized a conference on the theme "Applications of Artificial Intelligence for Products and Technologies - From Silicon Valley to Quebec", presented by Rubén Caballero, Former Vice-President of Engineering at Apple.

Following the presentation, Thierry Warin, Director of the SKEMA Global Lab in Augmented Intelligence and CIRANO Researcher and Fellow, led the discussion.

Philippe Arbour

Philippe Arbour is President of the Board of Arbour Foundation.

He is also Managing Director of Structured Finance at London-based Palamon Capital, a European middle market private equity firm. He joined Palamon in 2013 following 10 years at Lloyds Banking Group. In 2010 he was seconded to 3i PLC, a British private equity firm. Philippe holds the CFA designation and has a Masters in Finance from Durham University and a Bachelor in Business Administration (Honours Economics) from Bishop’s University.
