This autumn, the DEPPI team organized a series of meetings to share research results and recommendations with those involved in the DEPPI team's mission. These open, collaborative meetings were an ideal opportunity to meet you and share our main research findings.
For the occasion, Ingrid Peignier, Senior Director of Partnerships and Research Valorization at the Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organisations (CIRANO), opened the Montreal meeting. This was followed by presentations from speakers Audrey Dupont and Marie Laberge, as well as Charles Bellemare and Sylvain Letscher. There was also time for discussion of the various issues raised by the communication of our significant results, with a view to the future of the DEPPI project in society.
The DEPPI (Disability, Employment, and Public Policies Initiative) research partnership aimed to improve understanding of the preparation, integration, access, participation, and job retention of people with physical disabilities. The team's mission was to recommend public policies that promote the employability of people with physical disabilities in a competitive and evolving labor market.
