Biography

Carole Vincent holds a PhD in Economics from Université Laval and has over 25 years of experience in developing and managing a wide range of research activities on various economic and social policy issues.

In 2024, she was has been appointed Associate Professor at the School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal (ESPUM).

Prior to joining CIRANO, she was the Executive Director of the Quebec Interuniversity Centre for Social Statistics (CIQSS). During her career, she has held key positions in various research organizations, including the Social Research and Demonstration Corporation in Ottawa and the Institute for Research on Public Policy in Montreal. She has acted as a consultant for numerous government agencies, including the Secrétariat à la condition féminine du Québec, Employment and Social Development Canada and the Commission d'examen sur la fiscalité québécoise as a Commissioner.
