Expertise

Reverse innovation, multinationals, globalization, emerging markets

Biography

A Postdoctoral Researcher at CIRANO, Marine Hadengue is a professor at SKEMA Business School. She is also Chief Executive Officer of Arbour Foundation.

Holding a Ph.D. in engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, her research interests are related to innovation processes and the organization of R&D in the context of globalization and emerging markets. She has published several articles on the concept of reverse innovation, that is, the innovations originated, for example, in China and then spread to the United States. In continuity, Marine is currently studying the impact of artificial intelligence on innovation, particularly in the context of East-West relations.

Before doing her Ph.D., Marine worked as an engineer at Essilor. She also holds an M.Sc. in political science from Université de Montréal and a BA in mechanical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
