The 2005 ESA North American Meeting will be held on the McGill University campus and the McGill New Residence Hall, June 23-26, 2005. A large block of rooms at a very low rate of $94.99 CAD has been secured at the McGill New Residence Hall, which is the former Renaissance-Montreal hotel, just a few blocks from the meeting site.

The New Residence Hall will extend to you a group rate of $94.95 CAD per night, single or double occupancy. This rate includes a continental breakfast at the hotel. There will be a charge of $10 per person if more than two people use the double occupancy room. These rates will be honoured three days prior and three days following the scheduled dates of the conference. All rates are subject to both goods and services and provincial taxes ( GST 7% plus PST 7.5%).

The New Residence Hall has established May 20th, 2005 as a cut-off date for making reservations. Reservations may be made after this date at the regular rates if space is available. Individuals may cancel or change their reservations up to 14 days prior to their arrival with out penalty. Reservations that are cancelled with in 14 days will be charged one night room and tax.

Internet access is free in the New Residence rooms. There is also a large computer lab equipped with several dozen computers in the same building as the parallel sessions (on the McGill University campus) available for conference attendee use.

Gym facilities are available at a very nice gym (Club La Cité) across the street from the hotel. Please inquire at the front desk to purchase hotel guest passes.

Parking is also available for hotel guests. Please check-in before parking. Available parking for hotel guests ranges from $8 CAD to $15 CAD. Please buy these tickets at the front desk.
