The 2005 ESA North American Meeting will be held at the Westward Look Resort,
Sept 29 - Oct 2, 2005.
The Westward Look will extend to you a group rate of $129.00 US per night, single or double occupancy. These rates will be honoured three
days prior and three days following the scheduled dates of the conference. All rates are subject to state sales and bed taxes currently
totalling 7.5%.
The Westward Look has established August 30th, 2005 as a cut-off date for making reservations. Reservations may be made after
this date at the regular resort rates if space is available. Individuals may cancel or change their reservations up to 14 days prior to
their arrival with out penalty. Reservations that are cancelled with in 14 days will be charged one night room and tax.
You may contact the Reservations Department by telephone at 1-800-722-2500 or e-mail at
reservations@westwardlook.com and identify yourself as part of the Economic Science Association in order to reserve your accommodation
under this group rate.
If you can’t reserve at the Westward Look (We have a limited number of rooms available there), we have negociated great rates at three nearby
hotels. The rate for these is $89 for Thursday and Friday night, and $99 for Saturday night. For reservations by telephone, contact 1-800-426-7866. There are rooms available at the
Hampton Inn, La Posada and the
TownePlace by Marriott (these are studio suites with full kitchen). These hotels are about a 3 minutes drive from the Westward Look.
They will provide a shuttle service for those of you who do not have access to a rental car.
ROOM SHARING
The rooms at the westward look are very large and can quite easily accommodate two people. The room rates for the conference hotel are the same for single or double occupancy.
